Assessment and Training
Science 2004 we have provided assessment and training for 155 individuals with ASD diagnose. With a 3-5 month long individual assessment we clarify their strengths, weaknesses, special aptitudes, capabilities and interests and map out their needs of support, guidance and environmental adjustments to perform in a job situation. The assessment results in an individual mapping on the personal, environmental and professional capacities and needs. People who have the right skill set then may be hired as consultants with Specialisterne
Business services
40% of our assessment activities results in a employment as a IT consultant in Specialisterne. Specialisterne has today 40 consultant that solves valuable IT tasks such as; software testing, data registration, quality control, information packaging for a number of the leading IT and telecommunications companies in the world.
Specialisterne School
In September 2009 Specialisterne started a three year education programme for young adults between 16-24 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The purpose of the school is to create a holistic approch to education that besides teaching the regular subjects also focuses on social and cultural understanding, health and wellbeing, social behaviors and skills. The school has a close cooperation with Specialisterne business partners and supports the students with internship and work experience. By interacting with the IT consultants diagnosed with ASD, at Specialisterne, the students have daily role models and someone to learn form.
